how to delete a test message?

I don't see a delete option when I click "edt" button.
Deleting the text or title doesn't work - just gives me an error message.

JKJ.....looks like you can delete an entire message, but you'll have to leave one character.....like the period I left in the post above this one.

Thanks. I noticed I could edit it but wanted to delete the title too.

Since I can't delete it I thought about just posting a good joke or two there, completely off the woodturning radar, maybe like this. (Almost) everyone enjoys a bit of humor on occasion.




OK, back to the dungeon where I'm revising an old handout document for a demo next week in time for club members to
make some for our annual Christmas ornament project to benefit the local Children's Hospital. Still more turning, photos,
and editing to do, a lot of photoshop work. I didn't keep track but I'm guessing I spent at least 30 hours on it in the last week or so.

It's this one, up to about 20 pages so far, first page and a random page from the instructions.
