Hi ; I am new here . I was recommended to this site by a freind .
I am a rookie turner with a mini lathe and have only turned about 100 pens , some stoppers and a couple dozen small (up to 9.5") bowls and some goblets and lidded boxes and lamps and so far only one double captive ring goblet. I am learning as I go along and need all the help I can get. I have never had any formal instruction yet but I have had a lot of help from a couple other turning forums.
I will get familiar with the site for a while and then participate in topics that are of interest to me.
Here is a link to my album site. I have been doing mostly scrollsaw and fretwork clocks etc etc since retiring about 5 years ago and now I have taken up turning as an alternative hobby to keep me out of mischeif :D

Welcome William

Good-day William, Welcome aboard. If you run into any problems, these guyswill proably find a answer for you!

Rick;
Thank you for viewing my site and the kind words.
Re your question about PictureTrail, they have a free introductory offer with limited space and no slide show . The plan that I am on is $19.95 a year with a limit of 500 pictures and all the other benefits of belonging. For me it is well worth it because I have lost all my pictures several times to free sites that have vanished overnight. I think Picture Trail is here to stay by charging a fee to support their being there when we want them, Pictures are super easy to upload and adjust . I can't imagine being without that great service now. For anyone that needs 1000 picture capacity it only costs $10.00 more .
Hope this was of help to your question.
