MAJOR EXCESS WOOD INVENTORY TAG SALE!!!!
Saturday May 31st. 9:30 to 11 AM - 562 Townhouse Road, Vienna, Maine 04360
I have a large collection of wood turning and sculpting blanks. Mostly burls and figured pieces. Maple, cherry, box elder, apple. Some is kiln dried, every thing is at least 5 years old and much of it is a lot older than that. Most was end grain sealed when green.
I am moving to Independent Living and there’s no place for this stuff there. I have set out over 100 pieces, priced to sell from $1 to $60, most $20 or less. Small amount of flat stock including some redwood burl, a beautiful piece of kiln dried curly cherry (2.75” x 11” x 29”) and some 4” thick straight grained soft maple.

The largest of the burls are maple, ranging up to 50 lbs or so. This is the tree section from which they were cut. There is some figured thick flat stock from this piece as well as the burls. Many other burl sections and full sections from other trees.

There are some crotch and large branch sections.

Please don’t message me and ask “Do you have a….?” No way for me to sort through 100+ pieces to answer those individual questions. Ya gotta come and look for yourself.

Sale will take place, rain or shine in the barn, on Saturday May 31st. 9:30 to 11 AM. If you just can’t make those hours please message me and maybe we can set something else up.
LOCATION OF THE SALE: 562 Townhouse Road, Vienna, Maine 04360. 8 miles SE of Farmington. Townhouse Road is Maine Route 41. If coming from the south I’m 6.6 miles north of Mount Vernon Village, on the left. Coming from the north I’m less than ½ mile south of the New Sharon/Vienna town line on Route 41, on the right.
Cash only and the prices are pretty firm. Maybe open to some dickering if you are making a large buy but on a piece by piece basis, I’ve set the prices low enough that I’d just as soon keep anything that doesn’t sell as marked.

Sorry - should have attached photos - here they are
