I have a Rockwell 46-140 11" wood lathe and I'm wanting an additional faceplate, which is not easy to find because the threads are 7/8" x 14 RH. I've tried searching on Google and can't come up with anything except old ebay listings. Does anyone know of a place or someone who can make a custom faceplate?

Thanks,
Gary

Oneway `Versa Mount` universal mounting system uses their Stronghold taperlock adapter (available in 7/8 x 14 tpi ). Then you can add their faceplate rings as needed and if you switch to another lathe just get a new Stronghold adapter to match it. Not the cheapest way to start but it can move along with you.

hmm, I think Lee Valley has one for your lathe. Just search for aluminum faceplate!:cool2:
