I have always been interested for working with wood, I made some small tables using ecology.
Is in June 2018 when I decided to buy a lathe and start to woodturn, so I got my Oneway 12x24, after to take some classes with Kai Muenzer a local woodburning master, I discovered a real passion for this hobby, later on when I made some bowls, hollows, vessels and platters, I decided to sell my lathe to get another one the Oneway 16x40, this lathe will arriving at home next week. My shop is my garage, so I am struggling to optimize the space now. Last January, I had the opportunity to take three days with Master David Ellsworth in his house located in Weaverville NC, it was another milestone in my short period of woodturner, David showed all the process to work with green wood, I was really fascinated and am with this new learning.
Well, one of my interest is to improve my techniques in hollowing and go on learning and learning more.
I am attaching some pictures of some jobs that I did last year.
Thank you for accepting me in this forum.
Cordially,
