Who has time for creativity? I’m hoping I do. I just completed my second shop build in the last 7 years but at least I know this is my final destination! (Read my bio) While I’m still trying to fully organize my shop, I’m trying to find time to do small projects outside my honey-do list. I’ll never reach the end of that list if you know what I mean. But it’s good to be blessed in so many ways. I have all the tools a man could ever need. I just need to put them to good use. Several years ago, in my last shop, I bought a Laguna 2436 REVO lathe and love how it performs. It’s solid! I have it on casters for mobility. Most of my lathe tools come from Thompson Tools, which are the best HHS, IMO. I keep them sharp on my 1HP Rikon grinder with CBN wheels. I’m ready to start turning a few projects! One of my cherished projects was a 500 hour build of my Split Top Roubo work bench. It’s so versatile in workholding.
