I am Jim Selby, living in Jacksonville , Florida. A retired Navy Chief Petty Officer. I have and Excelsior Mini Lathe and a Colt midi . I am a member of Northeast Florida Woodturners Association.

Saw a fellow last week who had a hat with the name of a ship and the notation on the back- Plankowner; means he was on the first crew when it was commissioned. Can't remember the ship!

Thanks, yes plank owners are the crew aboard during commissioning.
