Good afternoon from sunny Florida. I've been an AAW member for quite some time but have never made a post. I have been turning for about ten years. A friend who was volunteering at the same state park had brought a mini lathe with him for the summer. I have always done woodworking so this new to me form of woodworking caught my interest. So by the time we left the park at the end of the summer I went home with a used Jet mini lathe. From there I graduated to a Jet 1640evs, my current lathe. I turn mostly bowls and a few hollow forms, platters and pens. As soon as I am able I will post some photos.
