Katrina relief

It's a good feeling

I'm President of The Bayou Woodturners and I believe at least 6 of our members, including myself have received aide. I have talked to these guys when they got their checks. It's hard to understand just how emotional they get when a group of woodturners they have never met, sends them more aid than FEMA, their insurance carrier or anyone else. I'm proud to part of this organization and this relief effort. The Bayou Woodturners have undertaken "Operations Payback" to replace some of the funds dispersed to needy woodturners this year. I urge other clubs to adopt similar programs in their areas to support his fund.
Thanks to the AAW for all their help to my friends and fellow members.
