Howdy All,

I'm 63 years young. A year ago we moved from Las Vegas (20 years there) to Columbia, Tennessee. Our place has 5 acres, most of it wooded. As soon as I saw the property I knew I had to get into woodworking again. It's been over 30 years since I have done woodworking.

I am blessed with walnut, cherry, black locust, honey locust, maple, eastern red cedar, dogwood, persimmon, sassafras, red mulberry, a few elms and boxelders, hickory, and a whole lot of sugarberry. Unlimited supply of wood. Mistakes are mostly free. :)

I started turning in February after buying all my equipment. My mentor is Kent Weakly from turnawoodbowl.com. I have learned an incredible amount from Kent as I explore this incredible hobby.

I am really looking forward to the next few years as I hone my skills and prepare for retirement. I also look forward to learning from you all.

Thanks,

Kent
