kiln

Well, another mill moved and the two parts no longer fit together. I'm thinking of making a small kiln from an old apt. refrigerator. My problem is space. I wonder if it will produce enough heat outside when our temps get into the single digits. Does anyone have experience with this?

Thanks Dean, I was just wondering if anyone in a colder climate had experience with one outside in the winter. Lots of variables to consider.

I doubt you can keep it warm enough in Wisconsin during the winter unless you use a fairly large light bulb. If you were to use a oven heating element with a thermostat then you most likely could. You may use more energy than what it is worth though.
