I went to the King Arthur Tools web site to look for information on how to use
their tools. Lots of safety information on the site. I don't know if this same information comes with the tool or not, but I will find out.

Two things it states very clearly, always hold the work in a vise or clamp, never with your hand. Always use two hands to hold the tool when working, never one handed.
It is a very interesting site, got some videos and lots of safety tips.

I've used a Lancelot for years (with great care). These are very dangerous tools, and King Arthur says on their web site and the info included in every tool. The issue is not that they are dangerous, but that someone didn't comply with the directions about how to use them. DUH!
