I have a chance to buy one of these Laguna CL 1200 Lathes at a silly price. It is fully functional, no work needed, plug and play. I have no need for a duplicating lathe but this thing looks like a tank. Is there any way to mount a proper banjo to this beast?

I could certainly take it apart and use some bits off of it and scrap the rest but that seems awful... Any collective wisdom, thoughts/experience on this lathe?
