Hi, all. I live in Lakeland, FL, and just started turning this past January (2018) Right how, I'm having great fun turning bowls, and basic lidded boxes. I retired this past February, and try and turn at least an hour a day. It usually ends up being much more! I am a member of the Woodturners of Polk County club. Up until now, I've turning wood either from my property in NC (mostly box elder and birch), or oak trees that came down during Hurricane Irma. I am definitely addicted to woodturning.

I am also a fiber artist of sorts. I knit and spin, and addition to weaving baskets.

Welcome. I retired in 2009 and now I can't figure out when I had time to work. Have 9 grandkids, and at least three expensive (says my wife) hobbies.
