While I was in Wisconsin attending the EAA Airventure show, look what jumped in the back of my truck and followed me home. Can I keep it? I promise to feed it and take care of it. Honey, can I keep it? I promise it won’t be any trouble.

Hats off to the folks at Robust for breaking it down and loading it in the truck so the tonneau cover closed and everything stayed dry. As I unpack it, fit and finish is everything it is purported to be.

An engine hoist made unloading and setting up a one man job.

Now where did I put that gouge?

You must have driven right past me on the way to pick that up. I could have added some turning material to your haul.

Congrats on the new toy (tool).

Go for the airplanes, come home with a lathe. Sure, purely by accident, no doubt. I don't think you had that planned out in advance at all. You saw it hitchhiking down the highway, I bet, offered it a ride to the next town, then you both agreed to put it up at your house for a few nights, just until it gets things in its life figured out. Uh huh...

You missed your chance to take a bigger truck and get two so they can keep each other company.

Very nice purchase! I enjoy my Sweet 16 a lot, you will not be disappointed in the quality or fit & finish of this lathe. Let us know what you think when you take you first spin on it.
