We just moved from Hoodsport Wa, to Shingletown Ca. I am looking for any members in my area.
I still have to install a panel, 220 outlets, and lighting in the two car garage. I know other members are always a great resource for help and knowledge. Not to mention, making new friends!

John, Looking at the main AAW website I don't think there is a chapter right near you but there are multiple ones within a few hours. Check out the chapter search tool at https://woodturner.org/Woodturner/AAWConnects/AAW-Connects.aspx I am down in the San Francisco area and there are a ton here but up near Redding it looks like you need to head closer to the coast or further south. I suspect there are plenty of turners in your area and hopefully one of those clubs can connect you. Good luck!

I have not looked......but I thought there was a Chico club?

John......I believe there is a woodturner in Shingletown. At least part time. Used to be a member of our club in Sonoma County, but retired and moved to Shingletown and Florida.

Back before the AAW website was "improved", you could enter your Zip code or a partial Zip code to find all of the AAW members In that search area. It was a wonderful and extremely useful tool for helping new members to get connected up with experienced turners in their area. Or, for someone exploring the possibility of starting a chapter in their area.
