The poll has closed. Congratulations to Victor Otneichenko, the winner of the March 2023 challenge.

In retrospect, I've concluded that there's a fine line between groundbreaking and foolishness. And, without any admission of which side of said line, I boldly ventured forth with the March 2023 challenge: turn a representative model of the Covid-19 virus, ostensibly a spheroid covered with protein spikes.

Now, the challenge is for all forum members to choose the winner. Voting begins now and concludes at midnight UTC (coordinated universal time) on Saturday, April 8, 2023. For the last several challenges, forum members have been allowed two votes. However, after much deliberation and advice from the forum legal consultants, Dewey, Cheatum, and Howe, forum members will be allowed only one vote. Once you have voted, you won't be able to go back and change your votes. After you have voted, you can track the vote totals. The voting is secret (just like an actual election), so nobody else can see who you voted for (not even the moderators/administrators). In case of a tie vote, the forum moderators will gather in a virtual waist-deep shavings-filled shop to determine the winner. As in all previous challenges, the winner might have to pass a lie detector test before being awarded the Grand Prize (rumored to be a dogleg SRG).

I apologize for being so late in posting this poll. We're shorthanded while half of the admin crew is lollygagging somewhere near the Arctic Circle in Alaska.
