Yes - but it marks everything read - there is a link on the main forum page toward the bottom , under the forums that is marked "Mark Forums Read'

Near the top of the Main Forum front page is a drop down menu under
"Forum Tools" that allows you to mark forum read.

Even quicker is to double click on the icon in front of the forum name on the main page.

I discovered this when the mouse sat there and the hoover help message appeared.
