If you were at the 2006 Symposium banquet, you're probably like me and didn't hear all the good stuff being said from the podium. One of those very good things was Mary Lacer's speech, accepting the (long past due) honorary lifetime membership award from the AAW.

Mary was kind enough to give us a copy of her written notes, and they have been posted here: Mary's speech

Everyone should read these words of wisdom and take note of what a great organization this is.
