This month's challenge was to turn a hollowform with a long neck. We had a nice variety of entries exemplifying different forms. Some were embellished, some left natural, and even had a segmented hollowform. One entry was box-like, but I will let it slide. Thank you everyone for participating. I can't speak for anyone else, but you have inspired my to get out and turn one or two of these...at some point. Cheers!

Now, the challenge for all forum members (this means you and me) is to choose a winner. Voting begins now and concludes at 11:59p-ish (USA Eastern time [UTC -5]) on Sunday, 1 June, 2025. You are allowed two votes; once you have voted, you won't be able to go back and change your votes. After you have voted, you can track the vote totals. The voting is secret (just like an actual election), so nobody else can see who you voted for (not even the moderators/administrators). In case of a tie vote, the forum moderators will gather in a virtual waist-deep shavings-filled shop to determine the winner.

As in all previous challenges, the winner might have to pass a lie detector test before being awarded the Grand Prize (rumored to be an expired registration for last year's AAW symposium in Portland).

The following are this month's entries (including the replies):

Big congratulations to @Tim Soutar for winning this month's challenge. The OG took it home with his beautiful Yew hollowform. I will be sure to send Tim his prizes ASAP.

There were many very attractive submissions this month. Like most other challenges, I had no idea how the vote was going to pan out. Thank you to everyone that participated. I hope this was a fun exercise in workholding and form. I will post this month's challenge within the next couple of days. Stay tuned!
