Working through old American Woodturner issues I was reading about the 2008 symposium and a demonstration by Michael Mocho really caught my eye regarding textural techniques. It seems his website is no longer functioning but has been doing club demos as recently as 2019. I'm wondering if anyone might know how to contact him? I've been unable to figure out how.

Also, re: indexed embossing, this is a subject I'm currently greatly interested in and wondering if anyone might have some suggestions for further investigation into the topic?

edit: go figure, as soon as I post this i find what I hope I'm looking for in an email address for Michael. The indexed embossing question still stands. :)
 
very impressive turner Michael Mocho.... saw him a couple times....some of his techniques are kinda wild....like moving tool rest away from turning.....i talked to him briefly waiting for shuttle at TN. Symposium one time.....easy to talk to and very humble for the talent he has
