Hi all, I am a new member to this forum. I have been turning since late 2016, and a member of the Nittany Valley Woodturners club, here in State College, Pa. My turnings are almost all lidded boxes. I will post some pictures as soon as I figure out how to do that. I'm 75 years old and have loved woodworking my whole life.
Look forward to learning some new tricks here.

Lidded boxes are a lot of fun to turn as you can turn a utilitarian piece progressing to fine detailed pieces to segmented pieces any size.
The spalted wood really adds a lot of character to wood turned pieces, always fun to see what is hiding in the wood!
