Hi, I'm Mikhail, 45, Oregon City, OR, USA.
Started woodworking 5 years ago, and woodturning about 2 years ago.
I'm sourcing my wood from local hardwood trees, primarely Oaks over here, aslo some Maple, Ash, Cherry, and Walnut (rare).
Milling slabs with MS 881 chainsaw and Alaskan mill.
Quickly I realized too many offcuts / firewood rounds left over and laying around for free. Nothing to do with then in woodworking, but treasure in woodturning.

I'm running occasional bowl turning since, mainly processing green offcuts into rough shaped bowls, which are waiting for second turn to finish them.

I started with Jet 12" lathe, quickly discovered I need "real" machine and got Nova Galaxy DVR 16". After a few years I'm currently upgrading to Vicmark VL240.
Looking to sell that Nova Galaxy now.
