Military Cremation Urn

I could have swore that there was an article about there not being enough cremation urns for homeless vets and how to make them out of stave construction. I can't seem to find what issue that was in. Any help would be appreciated.

Stave construction is like a barrel.

I turn a full size bird house using 9 staves mitered at 20degrees.

Most columns are made that way for a dozen reasons.
