Are the minutes from any AAW business or board meetings made available to members or clubs? In particular, where changes that effect the collaborative challenge or other projects the clubs work on.
It is my recollection that once the Board revised the Chapter Collaborative rules, last year, nd decided that we would no longer change them from year to year. Kinda the theory "once burned, twice a fool" in action.
So, assuming that my recollection is correct then the physical requirements of "One standard UPS package" would hold true. The categories for judging "technical, fantasy etc will remain the same as well.
The idea behind this was to allow enough time for the Clubs that are interested to participate in the Challenge to fabricate a project. That would allow the felxability for clubs had a very complex project they wanted to undertake they could make it over a two year time period. They would not run the risk that the rules would change by the time the project was ready.
They could then take TWO years to produce ONE Chapter Challenge.
I will contact Carl Voss, editor and Jeff Jilg, webmaster to be sure this information is plainly posted on the website.
Thanks for your inquiry
