Well, I have put up the last of my video clips from 'Weapons of Mass Destruction for Bowl Turning, and How to Use Them' on my You Tube channel. These will be the last till later this fall. I do have some more planned, but have too much to do between now and then. Thanks for watching.

I know this thread is a month old or so, but I wanted you to know I found the videos I've watched so far have been very helpful. Anyone new to bowl turning (like me) would really benefit from watching.

Fascinating...

I know this thread is a month old or so, but I wanted you to know I found the videos I've watched so far have been very helpful. Anyone new to bowl turning (like me) would really benefit from watching.

I was fascinated by the "Punky Maple" segment, so appreciate Reed showing us how each of those different tools performed on the soft, punky maple. Tons of that stuff here, around Puget Sound, and I've wondered how it is to turn. Where do I get a "fluteless bowl gouge"? Very interested to view the more basic tips and techniques he has online. Thanks for bumping the thread up, Bob.

Line of fire....

Thanks, Mark. To add to my earlier comment, the next video I watched was "Stay out of the line of fire." Geez, really glad I watched it. I'm so familiar with the things that can happen with a table saw, miter saw, jointer, or router. Clueless about pieces of bowl flying through walls (or bodies). Thanks and kudos to Robo Hippy.
