This is a picture of my version of the popular CiL easy rougher. I made it last night just for the fun of making it and to have a second tool to use the carbide cutters I bought with my original CiL easy rougher. I made mine from steel whereas the original rougher made by Craig is made of stainless steel This tool is a great backup for me. It cuts every bit as good as the original since the cutter is the same one as on the CiL. Almost forgot, the shield is from the tool I bought, the only thing that I made was the steel body and the handle. Mitch

Mitch, I'm pretty certain the Ci1 bar has always been made of stainless steel.

Nice job on yours, though.
