Looks like I need to visit Annapilis too. I’d love to find a plank of Pink Ivory like that! My supply is embarrassingly low.

That reminded me - there is a local place that imports granite for countertops. These (at least at one time) came on wooden pallets/crates. The guys would tear apart the pallets, remove the nails, and put the wood in a big bin inside the warehouse to keep them dry. They told me woodworkers like to come and get pieces.

I got many interesting (and unknown species) of exotic wood pieces from that bin. Some was boring, some was amazing!
