Regarding The woodturner named Dfriedel aka Denny , He posted an update using a Vicmarc Outboard attachment on his Jet 1642. I liked the idea so much I purchased one. Now Denny stated that he would send specs on how to attach outboard attachment to achieve the max swing while lathing. Denny has not emailed back nor can I seem to get his attention. Has anyone received those specs that he is talking about in "Jet outboard attachment update"??

If so can you send them to me-
Any advice? I would rather learn from any of his mistakes than creating them myself.

I have the outbord attachment on my VL300 Vicmarc and it only has 4 bolts to attach with and the thing is a unit. If you take the long bar out with its holder you are left with less to mess with while attaching it.

The material you are asking for are attached on the last post to the original thread. They are quite complete. Good luck.

thank you for your advice-

I spoke to Denny on the phone over the weekend and he emailed me the specs. Same as what is in that older thread. Isn't Networking Great. :)
