These blanks were left behind by Matt Monacco after his demonstration for our club a couple months ago. Turned a beautiful platter for us...Great Demonstration!
He admitted that he had no idea what the wood was...
Any ideas? Definitely exotic (meaning I don't think it's from the US) and a harder wood..... beautiful reddish heart wood and the fruit wood is spalted....

No clue, it could be several different woods. I am curious if there is any smell to it. That is one way I can identify many woods.
