There is a new club formed in Western Mass.
We meet at the Woodcraft in West Springfield, Mass.
This is located less than 1 mile from rt 91, and a couple of miles (maybe 5)
from the Mass Pike (rt 90).

Our meeting are the 2nd wednesday of every month at 6:30 for the meeting.
We are already 49 members strong after 5 months.
We are also starting a learn and turn session within the year.

The clubs by-laws have just been gone thru and posted for the members, and will be submitted to the AAW by the end of this month as well.
If you have interest, please contact me via pm or email.

Sincerely
Jerry Sambrook

p.s. I also posted this in the chapter forum as well

new chapter

Hey Jerry, congrats to you and all on the new chapter. I live in Northern MN and we just started a chapter here at the beginning of the year and were official in March, Rainy River Area Woodworkers, we started with 5 and are now 12 strong with a possible husband and wife team signing at the next meeting, we usually let anybody sit in a time or two before joining. We are doing our first demo the 25, 26, and 27th of Aug. and we even have a featured artist, Phil Miller, from La Crosse, WI, coming to demo with us. With 49 people, im sure you guys will do well. Welcome to the AAw Chapter list. Cory.

Congratulations to both of you on your new chapters! Best of luck in your new endeavors.

Jerry-I'm not far away in Albany, NY. Might have to visit sometime. I even do demos if you are interested.
