on your other thread, one turner who had the newer version of the Laguna Revo 2436 sold it and got the Grizzly G0800. The differences I mentioned in my comments on that thread apply to the new version of the 2436 Revo. It has two spindle bearings in the headstock. It does have some nice features, especially the pendant controls that can be moved to your desired location. I did a deep dive into the schematics of the Laguna 2436 [new version] and a couple other lathes including the Grizzly 0800, which I purchased. For my needs the heavy build and performance of the high efficiency premium motor and advanced inverter sold me over the Revo 2436 with the older "S" type inverter.
