Greetings all

Well I have been home for a few days, and it is time to pack up the truck for my next turning trip, this time to the Smith Moutain Lake Turners club in Moneta VA. I have not had a lot of time to post since I got back from Cape May, but I do want to say that I had a blast down there, spending a day fishing, catching some very unusual things including a couple of skates and sharks. We even caught a couple of fish, and one was featured on the dinner table that night, thanks to Kurt R. who caught it and his highly skilled wife who cooked it. We even managed to do some turning the following day!

But now I am off for Dixie, the land of (some) of my forefathers. I know Ed here is a member of the club, but is there anyone else who posts or reads here who will be there? After this trip I get a few weeks off before a club in RI, and then the symposium!

Bill

Hi Bill,

I live in the Roanoke area and belong to Blue Ridge Woodturners I would really llike to attend when I first of your coming I was anxious to attend. Unfortunately I have to work, however there will be at least one of BRW's members there, Peter Toch is planning to attend. I understand that he plans to purchase one of your videos for the club while at the Demo. I believe you will have a great time. The Smith Mountain Lake club is full of fun folks. Looking forward to hearing good things from this one.
