Not just a box...

Ed, these are delightful! Well done. The bottom of the first top looks like a ruby. Is it epoxy simply turned round? And that’s another thing; all the tops I have seen have a pointy bottom but these work quite nicely with a rounded bottom. Who would have thought!

The points shown in the two videos are epoxied in place stone "rivets" used in the leather-work craft, like these found on Etsy. The nice thing with using these rivets is the 1/8" wide post on the backside makes a handy tool to ensure the rivet/stone is well centered in the top's body. Also, a rounded point is a little more forgiving than a pointed point, when trying to snap-finger-spin one of these things.
