11 years ago I purchased a new Nova Saturn from Technatool. Although I recently have been turning mostly small stuff a lot of my turning is from rough and out of balance logs. The lathe has handled this very well and is still as silky smooth and quiet as the day it was new. I love this lathe. However just recently I came back to a project after about a 2 hour absence. I had left the main power switch on but it was shut down on the control panel. The lathe would start to the default speed I had set. which was 100 rpm but that was about it. I'm trying to make a long story short. I am aware of the fact that Tecknatool has filed chapter 11 bankruptcy in the U.S. I determined that I need a new control interface and found this part on Nova's web site But both my debit card and credit card was refused with the same message that an error had occurred. Still trying to keep this story short. I had signed up to Nova's newsletter and received a response from a person named Sabrina. On a whim I responded to that email with my problem thinking that Nova had gone belly up. Within a very short period of time I received 2 emails from Nova wanting to know more about this problem and before I could really answer I received a phone call from Technatool. I think the guys name was Jake-not sure and he said he would send me a ticket to fill out so they can get my items order-its a pre order item-to the factory as soon as possible. All of this was done in a very short period of time on Friday. He also said that I would receive a phone call from Chrissy on Monday(tomorrow). As far as I'm concerned this has been EXCELLENT customer service and they don't have to take a back seat to anyone1 Total KUDOS from me
