Sometimes the simplest of ideas are a real help in the long run........

Have you ever needed to sharpen a gouge Ellsworth grind and couldn't quite remember which notch on your Wolverine Jig you last used to sharpen it?

I have, many times........but not lately! :D For the past couple years, I've been taking a little strip of masking tape and wrapping it around the tool shank where it meets the handle. I mark the corresponding notch of the Oneway Wolverine Jig there.......no guessing, no mistakes.

That is cheating Odie!!!

I have done the same on other pieces of equipment where I make repetitive cuts. Lately, it seems I have a bad case of CRS (can't remember squat). :D
Thanks for the good idea!
