Marking sealed roughed bowls for seasoning.
If you are like me, all roughed bowls are inventoried, numbered and marked.
I've used lead pencils, charcoal pencils, white paint, stickers that fall off, stickers stapled on, permanent markers......and so forth. Everything seems to have some negative aspect.......can't read it, penetrates wood, falls off, etc.
At some point I asked on this forum for better ways of doing this to suit my needs......and, as usual, somebody came up with a great way of doing it. I did it a little differently, and came up with my personal best solution.
I'm using file folder labels cut in half, but any kind of sticker will do.
Apply sticker and brush anchorseal right over the top. No damage to the bowl, penetration, lost data.......and, it stays put!
