I'm pretty sure I'm a paid up AAW member. I still get the Journal and various emails.

But I've been unable to "Sign In". I've tried several times carefully following the instructions,...nothing. Just to be sure I had somebody else try using my info, still nothing. Not getting any response from AAW to finalize my access to the new website.

Am I the only one having this problem?.

I signed in just fine following the instructions below.
Did take few minutes for the AAw email to come through.
I’m sure you tried following them without success. That would be frustrating.

Further frustration it is Saturday.... you have wait until Monday to call AAW - they will get you fixed up.

Most likely the problem is a mismatch on email addresses. I use several and I have to be sure to use the same one AAW has.

- these are the instruction I used to get in

FIRST-TIME LOGIN INSTRUCTIONS FOR AAW’S NEW WEBSITE
Go to woodturner.org.
• Click “Sign in” in the blue area at the top of the screen. A “Sign In” box will be displayed.
• In the “Sign In” box, click the link “Forgot Password?” located just below the light brown “Sign In” button. A “Forgot Password” box will be displayed.
• In the “Forgot Password” box, type in your username for the new website (which is an email address) in the box to the right of “*Username” and click the light brown “Submit” button.
• Almost immediately, you will receive an email from memberservices@woodturner.org with instructions for resetting your password. (If you do not receive this email, please check your junk mail folder.)
• Open the email and click the link, “go to the password reset page.” A “Sign In” box will be displayed.
• In the “Sign In” box, type your password in the boxes to the right of “*New Password” and “*Confirm new password.” (Please note, your password is case sensitive and must be at least 7 characters long and contain both letters and numbers. The new passwords must be typed in identically.)
• Click the light brown “Submit” button to save your password.

In addition to what Al said, you don't have to be an AAW member to be a forum member. Anybody over eighteen with an interest in woodturning can join the forum and the cost is FREE*. Roughly a third to half of the forum members are NOT AAW members.

* Since the AAW pays for the expenses of running the forum, a very small portion of your AAW dues goes towards the forum. So, technically the forum is only truly free for those who aren't AAW members. In the spirit of penny pinching I have cut my annual salary of $0.00 in half so it is now $0.00 / 2.

I am a password cripple. I have more trouble with logging into all my various actions on the computer and probably should simply make my password an audible derogatory word and that would solve my problem. However whenever I get stuck I just give the AAW office a call they help me out. The last time it was simply I was using my name with a space and apparently the first time I logged in I didn't use that space. Just saying that the AAW is really good about helping those of use with log it disabilities. Had the same problem with my bank when I logged in from my phone. Turns out there programs won't accept (sensitive personal information removed)* so now I simply log in with (even more sensitive personal information removed)*. Then of course there are those websites that won't let me create a password without a certain number of digits several that must be numbers or characters. Those really drive me nuts.

* Information removed by moderator so that hackers all over the world won't be trying to get into your bank account.

Thanks Bill for the added support.
