Thanx for that. I visited the Oneway factory to pick up my lathe, very friendly people. They took me through the factory showing various machines in production and how they make some of the products. At the time think they had about 8 big CNC machines.
Both my big gouges are Oneways, and like you said the double ended ones give good economy, still got a lot left on both, but can see the middle on the 5/8" coming out the handle. The edge does hold better than HSS, and can hog out a green blank between sharpenings.
