I am posting this here only because I posted in the forum technical and help section but got no response. Can someone tell me why my photo was removed from the photo gallery. I posted a photo of some stair railing spindles I turned to match others in an historic home here in Maryland. The photo was of the new spindles along with some of the original spindles for comparison. I indicated in the description which were the new spindles I turned and which were the originals. The message I received stated it was removed for two reasons. The image must be of completed works and the image must be my own work. The items met both requirements so I’m not sure why it was removed.

I've been out of action due to a back injury so I didn't see your earlier post.

As I recall, I think that there were two spindles that you used as models to create duplicates but weren't your turnings. Although the actual turning part had been completed, it appeared that stain and/or finish to match the original pieces hadn't been applied yet. My assumption was that your photo was showing a work in progress. In retrospect, my judgment was off regarding the spindles that you were copying since you did state that you were trying to duplicate the existing spindles. The rule is actually meant to prevent people from passing off the work of someone else as their own. It's clear that was not your intent. I apologize if I was mistaken about the spindles not being completed. You may re-post the photo in the gallery.
