I will be in S. CA (Dana Point at the end of June. Any places of interest for Woodturning? Galleries, Exhibitions, studios etc.
 
There is a lot of galleries in Laguna, just north of there, don't know about much wood though. Sawdust Festival in Laguna starts on June 28th, always fun.

Further south is Tropical Exotic Hardwoods
