I'm looking for a set of plans for a turned egg box. I think I've seen one somewhere, but can't remember where. I've tried google and come up empty. This is something I would like to demonstrate for our club. Thanks, Jim Bob
You can get free ones a Publix...sorry :cool2: If you are talking about a box shaped like an egg use the instructions for a lidded box and just change the shape if like John asked a box to hold eggs..well that would take some off center turning, but is very do-able, but I don't think you will find plans.
The journal ran an article in 2009 (or 2010?) on a turned egg-shaped box that additionally had piercing. You can go to the online journals in the Members Area and look up the article.
The February issue will carry an article on a palm seedpod shaped box, the shape of which could easily be modified to an egg shape. This article is by Neil Scobie from Australia.
