A while back someone gave me some turning wax from a container he had, saying that he had more than he could use. I put it in a small plastic container and labeled it "EEE Polish". It is a tan color and now is somewhat hard, but still works great.
Can anyone help me ID the brand?

I'm not sure, but I have some U Beaut EEE-Ultra Shine. It's an Australian product. Here's a pic of the container I have:

Thanks Mark, that's got to be what I have.
That was quick!

Glad I could help. I use the EEE for final cutting and polishing before using Shellawax or something like that.

I wonder if EEE is 80% better than Yorkshire Grit. $40 for EEE, $25 for Yorkshire grit on Amazon.

I doubt it but next time I need a refill I'm going to try it. This jar has lasted me a long time so far but money is money, right?

Good idea.

I’ve used Dr. Kirk micro magic, Pitas True Grit and other similar stuff and honestly I can’t tell the difference

I have heard of making your own. Not exactly sure how. Wax for sure, carnauba is probably best, but you need a solvent or heat to get it to flow and cover evenly. Rottenstone (?) can be had for "French polish" and I think it is pretty fine grit. Kiwi neutral shoe polish is carnauba wax with some turpentine in it. I think that is the main solvent for many "paste" waxes. I have several cans of "Butcher's" bowling alley wax and their furniture wax handy. Works great with screws in harder woods....
