Powered hollowing cutter?

Not an approach I ever seriously considered (it scares the heck outa me), But his work is beautiful. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=G0MPVFBEyRs http://www.liamoneill.com/workshop/Chainsaw-Demo.html#3

I had a class with Liam o'neil around 1994.
Liam invented the side ground gouge
I have yet to see another tuner who can use a gouge better.
A few come close.

I guess the point is if perhaps the most skilled turner in the world can use a chainsaw for sculpture work maybe it is not so outlandish for the rest of us to consider.
Liam does huge garden sculptures for which the chainsaw may cut circles around the gouge.
