First, I have three thank you's. Thank you, Jeff, for putting the President's letter to the membership on the homepage. Despite the implicit suggestion in someone's rant that I do not appreciate your contribution here, I assure you that you are very much appreciated by me, and by all who enjoy the AAW forum.
My second thank you is to Phil Brennion for his service during some difficult times. Phil's task was tough enough, but to hang tough while in discomfort says a lot about how much Phil cares about the AAW. And for their hard work and devotion, I thank the two board members whose terms expire soon, Ron Alexander and Linda Van Gehuchten.
The two congratulations are to the two electees, Al and Sean. I have seen Sean's name on a forum, but have not interacted with him. It was a distinct pleasure to be in the Chesapeake Woodturners while Al was President. I have every confidence that Al will serve with distinction in his new role, as he did for CW.
I think you will find Sean is a very capable member of the board. I have known him for a while here in Phoenix where he has been President of the Arizona Woodturners assoc.
