I am selling my Rose Engine 2 as I start to downsize my workshop (79years old) . I've dropped the price to $2200. Item does not include the tool cart it sits on nor the nova chuck. If you want those items it's another $200. It comes complete and ready to run with the stepper motor driven X-Z linear rail system with tool holder and magnetic hold downs to table. It includes a Universal Cutting Frame and Drill Frame with speed control. It also has a stepper motor operated rosette phaser that allows it to be independently controlled with the spindle. It also comes with an amplitude adjuster and the following items : 9 purchased Rosettes, 7 manufactured Rosettes, pen chuck, 2 limit switches, 3 ¼” cutting tools, 9 1/8” cutting tools, a tool, and magnetic light. The RE 2 utilizes the #2 morse taper insert to move work from the lathe to the RE 2. This greatly improves runout. I’m including both a 1 ¼” x 8 and a 1” x 8 spindle insert so you can work with any lathe chuck. I suggest going to the colvin tools web site for more info as well as how to control all the functions. It is a great source for the first timer. Price is $2200 or best oiffer for everything. I do not want to ship due to the expense, but will travel a reasonable distance to meet you.
