For over a week now, I can’t seem to get through to a real person at Powermatic, despite their telling me how important my call is and that if I leave my name and number ( which I have done several times) they will have someone get right back to me. I ordered a lathe through Acme, expecting shipment in the advertised 3-5 business days. It’s been over two weeks and despite a promotional light showing up, I haven’t heard anything about when it will ship. (Tried calling Acme and they haven’t been able to get through to anyone at JPW either)
Anyone had this problem? And now I’m concerned about warranty issues or customer service once I own the lathe. Anyone had any experience with that?

Yes ... I ordered some parts for my Jet bandsaw over 8 months ago. They sent part of the order (a washer) right away the rest of the order hasn't been shipped. I have called, left messages, sent emails, etc. Finally last week somebody from JPW called. It seems the credit card I used when I placed my order expired about 3 months ago, and the caller wanted to update my credit card information so they could ship my order. I asked her when they expected to ship the parts and she said it would probably be another month!

I have 2 Powermatic lathes, and previously have had no problem getting tech support on the phone. I hope whatever is causing this is some sort of temporary issue.
