I was working to turn a goblet or something to take to my chapter meeting. I noticed what was either a hairline crack or dark grain in a piece of cherry. I started turning and realized I didn't have my face shield on. In one minute or less, it was a crack and a piece about the size of a quarter flew off and hit the face shield. I printed a sign to put up as a reminder. Photo attached. Will get ambitious and hang it a bit higher on the wall.
