Hi fellow woodturners. I look forward to sharing my newest hobby interest with all and learning the trade.

Been turning just a couple of years, part-time as I'm still working in the chemical industry. Have a limited amt. of equipment so I find tricks and shortcuts handy; part of the fun and experience. I enjoy making things for family and friends, experimenting with various techniques and mixed media (wood, resin, inserts, etc). Look forward to sharing pics of projects and am always open to suggestions on how to do something better or different.

I live in Kansas City, should anyone also live here near by.

Robert welcome aboard. Look for a club up there it will be a very helpful experience. I was in Lees Summit for 9 years about 20 years ago. Worked down on Wornall and finally got a store in Independence. It was a great place to live but alas my heart and my oldest was still in Dixie.
