i am in search of a vendor or supplier to purchase the saving head components for a mach 3 razor so i can make my own shaving handle. i am familair with the golden nib but find his product a bit too pricey for my budget. can anyone help???

I have no idea where to get the components you require......but, I am a little curious as to what you're up to!

Since this is a forum dedicated to lathe turning, do you plan to make something like what's shown in this picture?

I have an idea that women might purchase something like that for their man.

I've tried to order several times from this dealer, but can never get them to answer the phone or return emails, http://www.blankity-blanks.com/brushes.htm (look at the bottom of the page)
So I just buy from Anthony at the Golden Nib, he's also a bit less expensive, or you could just buy a Gillette and try disassembling it.
